Whip checks are necessary for all pneumatic tool supply and hose connections. Available in 2 sizes, our whip checks will fit anywhere from 1/2″ to 3″ OD air hose. Per OSHA 192.302(b)(7) all hose diameters over 1/2″ require a safety device at the source of supply or branch line to reduce pressure in case of hose failure.
