Morse Taper (MT) Drills
What is Morse Taper?
Morse Taper (MT) refers to the taper of a spindle on a drill that accepts arbors and other types of tooling. Primarily used on drills, the MT spindle allows the tool's arbor bore to accept a male arbor with the same-size morse taper. The item inserted is held in place by friction – without fasteners or tools. Drills with Morse Taper connections allow for quick tool changeover.
The Morse Taper connection of your machine should be indicated in the manual and it is critical that you purchase the same MT number accessory. Morse Taper inserts include drill bits, chucks, arbors, cutter holders, tooling, and more.
CS Unitec offers a variety of Morse Taper mounted and hand-held drills for cutting metal, wood, and other materials. Configurations include Morse Taper magnetic drills, high-torque, hand-held drills, t-handle drills, corner drills, and more.
